The Mission:
To write with passion.
To produce with respectful collaboration.
To deliver projects on time and on budget.
Hello
I’m Susan Jordan, an Oregon and Colorado-based storyteller who writes and develops projects across multiple platforms: feature and television screenwriting, podcasts and audio dramas, and intellectual property research.
Participants at writing seminars often ask, “Where do you find your inspiration for a story?” I’ve found that inspiration often finds me. For instance, I visited a local thrift store. Also visiting the store was an older gentlemen, dressed like a “Rat Pack” member. Think Frank Sinatra. I complimented the gentleman on his hat and mentioned that it reminded me of the hats worn by my grandfather. Our family called those fedoras his “Sunday-go-to-Meeting” hats. He looked me up and down, assessing my casual ensemble of worn jeans and old sweatshirt, and mumbled “People have forgotten how to dress when visiting town,” as he huffed away. His comment, his hat, and memories of my grandfather’s hats coalesced into a short screenplay which I have entered into a contest. Inspiration by chance meeting.
Thanks for visiting my website and please check back for new projects and updates on works in progress.
Sincerely,
Susan
