WOUNDS OF WAR

Palm Springs Diversity Screenplay Contest

Coverage: WOUNDS OF WAR TV Pilot

2025 Review

“Wounds of War works because Jax works. You’ve built a grounded, propulsive neo-western with a fresh POV, a formidable antagonist, and a clear series engine in land, water, and legacy. The pilot hits emotional notes that feel earned…and closes on a hook that recontextualizes childhood memory into present danger.”

A CHRISTMAS YARN

Coverage: A CHRISTMAS YARN

2024 Review

“The town of Polaris, Colorado, is so well established and well crafted. It really comes to life on the page. It is charming and warm and everything we want from a setting for a holiday movie. The overall tone matches the genre very well and is enjoyable.”

LONDON KISSMAS

ScreenCraft Family Screenplay Contest

Coverage: NONSTOP LONDON: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY

(Retitled LONDON KISSMAS)

2018 Review

“NONSTOP LONDON: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY [retitled as LONDON KISSMAS] is an adventurous and heartwarming story of a Wyoming mother [Stella] living out her dream of traveling to London when a resident [Penelope] at the nursing home she was recently fired from offers to let her stay at her old house across the pond. The pages do a really nice job using this setup as an impetus to get them to London but also to galvanize the plot, as they discover upon their arrival that Penelope’s nephew [Thomas] is struggling with efforts to turn the house into an inn. This contributes to a very strong plot, particularly when Stella and Betty decide to help Penelope and Thomas secure funding to complete the inn by New Year’s. This helps keep these characters active throughout the story and ultimately helps provide a driving force to explore the magical world of London at Christmastime.”
